ELGIN Cavalier
This beautiful timepiece is an Elgin Cavalier wristwatch, reference 2837. The serial number indicates that this watch is dated from 1939. It is a manual wind watch 8/0 size, 17 jewels movement, caliber grade 524, sub-second hand, U.S.A. made.
After 80 years, it still has the original white dial with gold applied Arabic Numerals, bold minute markings and matching hands. The sun dial is located at 6. The dial is signed with the Elgin name on top.
It is very unique hexagon case, 25.5mm width (crown not inclusive); stepped bezel and fancy lugs design. All in 10K gold filled.
This watch is coming with a vintage Speidel flex bracelet in 10K gold filled. Also, this watch is coming in an original Elgin display box.
This timepiece is in good condition. It is running very well and keeps great time!

This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
