Hamilton did some serious watchmaking back in the day. Here we have a 1st generation cushion case design by Hamilton dating back to 1927! The watch in of itself illustrates many different techniques. Its 14kt white gold filled case is engraved. The pattern of engraving designated as "Thunderbird". Its steel spade and sword handset are blued - a process completed by heated treatment to prevent oxidation or rust. Powering this watch is the Hamilton Caliber 987 whos lineage can be traced back to pocket watch predecessors. To top it all off we have paired this example with a period correct strap that resembles the one originally fitted to the watch in the 1920's. Just take a look at the ad for reference.
